Environmental Sustainability

We are committed to reduce our environmental negative impacts and identify key areas where we can have a significant positive impact. We aim to partner across the value chain for a circular economy, renewable raw materials and energy, responsible sourcing, as well as by innovating sustainable products.

CIRCULAR ECONOMY (CLOSING THE LOOP)

We remain fully committed to the circular economy model. Whether by composting biodegradable waste, or by reusing, remanufacturing, and recycling non-biodegradable waste, INDEVCO will continue to implement all the necessary policies and measures across all its companies to abide by this sustainable production model and close the loop between the production and the natural ecosystems’ cycles.

PV PANELS

We are committed, today more than ever, to reduce energy consumption across our manufacturing premises and to expand our PV power plants to benefit from a clean and renewable source of energy and reduce our carbon footprint. With more than 200,000 PV panels installed in Lebanon and Egypt, we produce over 160,000 MWh of energy every year used to power our factories and plants.

Social Responsibility

INDEVCO’s raison d’etre is the compass that guides the group in identifying and addressing community needs, while unleashing business opportunity and maximizing value. As members of the UN Global Compact, we are committed to providing an inclusive, quality, and safe work environment for all employees and workers with zero tolerance for discrimination.

PEOPLE

With more than 10,000 people globally, our employees’ safety and wellbeing is a top priority. We have implemented universal health and safety systems and processes across all operations. INDEVCO is also abiding by the regulations of inclusion of persons with disabilities and women in the workforce. We continue to offer a safe and secure workspace to those who need it whether with a dedicated parking for disabled people, or benefits for new mothers to help them balance work and home life.

COMMUNITY

Throughout various outreach programs and campaigns, INDEVCO will remain a supporter of women, students, and children. Whether through awareness campaigns, training courses, internships, sponsoring programs, or collaborations with NGOs, we continue to empower women throughout our group to lead purposeful and successful lives, and provide professional support to university students, and financial support to children from underprivileged families.
