We are thrilled to announce that UNIPAKHELLAS has been honored with the prestigious WorldStar 2024 Award in the E-Commerce category for our innovative Reusable-Recyclable packaging solution. The award, presented by the World Packaging Organisation, recognizes excellence in sustainable packaging on a global scale.
More specifically, we were awarded for having a standard mailing box transformed into a resealable solution with two sealing strips and one tear-to-open strip. This change turns a single-use package into a reusable one, allowing users to seal it for the initial sendoff, and recipients to open it easily without damage. The package can then be re-sealed for secure mailing to another location, aided by the new lock bottom technology ensuring safe content handling during transfers.
Our packaging is crafted from predominantly recycled materials, designed for a cycle of use and reuse. After its use, the packaging undergoes recycling, contributing to the creation of new materials to produce innovative products. And this is truly remarkable.
