On May 17 2017, The Lebanese Packaging Center, Libanpack, and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, UNIDO, organized the 1st edition of the Starpack Arab Student competition, under the patronage of Prime Minister Saad Hariri.
Since 2010, Libanpack has been organizing Lebanon Student StarPack, the first packaging contest in Lebanon and the Middle East. This year, LIibanpack and UNIDO brought together university students from all Arab countries to participate in the Arab Student StarPack competition for the best packaging design.
The 1,000 participants from 15 Arab countries chose to submit their designs between three categories: visual design category, structural design category and save food category and the 41 award winners were automatically qualified to participate in the World Star competition.
As a gold sponsor at Starpack, UNIPAK held a booth at the event, meeting with attendees and participants, emphasizing its support to creativity and innovation in the packaging industry.
